We are looking for a passionate Accounts Payable Specialist to join our leading team of hospice care professionals and make a difference, by listening, caring, and serving. 

POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for posting invoices, reconciling accounts and maintaining records to ensure accuracy and timeliness of vendor payments and proper accounting cutoff. 

 

Essential Duties:

  • Performing all regular duties associated with the preparation, generation and distribution of vendor payments.
  • Batching, coding and entering invoices in invoice management database
  • Maintaining Accounts Payable inbox in Outlook
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Respond to intercompany inquiries
  • Provide outstanding customer service to vendors and internal customers.
  • Participate in month-end close process
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience 
  • Multi-state and/or location experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
