Position Summary:
The QA Analyst is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance team by assisting with early-stage production support, gathering and documenting detailed user requests, and ensuring all activities align with QA processes and standards through to resolution. This role plays a key part in validating defects, supporting system testing, and maintaining high-quality software delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to validate reported defects through thorough testing.
Track and monitor defects, assisting in identifying potential solutions.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues found during system testing.
Perform functional, system, and integration testing of software delivered from development.
Communicate findings effectively to management and client teams, both technically and in business terms.
Adhere to QA processes, documentation standards, and contribute to ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing, preferably in a multi-platform environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and business information clearly.
Experience working in a regulated, documentation-driven environment is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
