We’re seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our team and support the fabrication, assembly, and repair of billboard structures. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and/or stick welding, be comfortable working with steel and aluminum, and have a strong understanding of structural fabrication. This role plays a key part in delivering durable and safe advertising structures that meet engineering specifications and company standards
What You’ll Do:
- Weld steel and aluminum components for billboard frames, supports, and structures using MIG, Stick, and/or TIG techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Perform layout, fit-up, and fabrication of billboard parts according to design specifications.
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy, structural integrity, and conformance to quality standards.
- Operate fabrication machinery, grinders, torches, and cutting tools.
- Ensure all work meets OSHA safety standards and internal quality requirements.
- Assist with installation or repair of billboards when needed (including occasional travel to job sites).
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Work Environment
This work environment is mostly outdoors in all weather conditions.
Physical Demands

Physical Exertion: The incumbent may frequently be required to lift approximately 100 pounds without restrictions or limitations.
Vision: The incumbent must possess close, midrange, distance, and peripheral vision; as well as the ability to identify colors, judge distances and adjust focus.
Speaking/Hearing: The incumbent must be able to give and receive information through speaking and listening.
Motor Coordination: The incumbent in this position is frequently required to: use their hands and reach with their hands and arms. The incumbent is periodically required to: sit. The incumbent is occasionally required to: stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding preferred.
- Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of welding/fabrication experience, preferably in structural or heavy steel welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding; TIG experience is a bonus.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with billboard, signage, or structural steel fabrication.
· Forklift, crane, or rigging experience.
· Knowledge of basic electrical or mechanical systems (helpful for billboard lighting or moving parts).
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday through Friday schedule.
- $22-$24/hour (based on experience), weekly pay
