We are searching for a Clinical Dietitian III- Someone to provide nutritional assessment of patients, care plan development and management of needs across the patient care continuum leveraging their clinical expertise to lead quality improvement projects, create staff education, or conduct research.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition required, Master's preferred
- RD/RDN - Certificate-Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist required from Commission on Dietetic Registration
- LD - Licensed Dietitian required from Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
- One of the following certifications in addition is required
- CDCES
- CCTD
- CEDRD
- CHES
- CNSC
- CSO
- CSOWM
- CSP
- CSPCC
- CSR
- CSSD
- IBCLC
- 7 years Nutrition experience including two years in the clinical specialty area of focus required
Responsibilities:
- Provides nutritional assessment and ongoing development of appropriate plan of care
- Adapts nutrition plan to specific economic, social, cultural, and age-appropriate patient needs utilizing progressive problem solving skills.
- Assesses learning needs and readiness to learn for all patients and families.
- Serves as a primary preceptor for interns.
- Collaborates with other professionals to integrate and communicate nutrition principles that enhance patient outcomes
- Participates in policy, nutrition reference tools or Nutrition Care Manual updates as a primary writer or editor.
- Maintains credentials and participates in ongoing continuing education.
