Description
We are hiring an Assistant Branch Manager, Floater who will support Branch Managers/Assistant Branch Managers in providing coverage and directly managing the branch team members and overseeing all aspects of branch operations to ensure Members receive high quality service and all operational expectations are being met in their absence. A key responsibility is to assist with leadership coverage at all CU SoCal branch locations including Lake Havasu, AZ.
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday: 8:30AM to 5:30PM & Saturday: 8:30AM – 1:30PM
*Based upon business needs, our positions will require working flexible hours, including weekends.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience in operations, analysis, process improvement, and/or program/project management role.
- This role requires driving and must meet and maintain the following requirements:
- Hold a valid CA state driver’s license in good standing that is not actively suspended, revoked, or restricted.
- Have reliable personal transportation. Use of any means of public transportation or ridesharing services will not satisfy this requirement.
- Must maintain state liability auto insurance coverage with a minimum of 100/300/100 limits on the vehicle that will be used for work.
- Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree in business or equivalent.
- 2+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience in operations, analysis, process improvement, and/or program/project management role.
- Systems: Symitar and/or MeridianLink.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills in a multi-tasking environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize day-to-day duties and execute on projects, researching solutions in both an individual and team environment.
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with staff in other departments.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform the Branch Manager’s supervisory and operational responsibilities during his/her absence by making sound decisions and motivating team members to build exceptional teamwork through maintaining a winning attitude and positive behavior.
- Coach, train, and develop branch teams, in the absence of their leadership, to ensure accurate and professional interactions with the highest level of Member service both internally and externally.
- Monitor and conduct observations and coach branch team members, in the absence of their leadership, to ensure appropriate growth and development.
- Contributes to supportive work environment, harmonious working relations and high team member morale and engagement.
- Ensures branch operations are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Serves on project work teams, at times as a project lead, to solve business challenges that result in process improvements that create business efficiencies
- Assists in developing, coordinating, and conducting ongoing training on savings, lending, and cross-selling programs; assist in creating and implementing ORGs; assists in researching, proposing, and implementing new and enhanced products/services to management.
- Enhance Member Experience by consistently engaging and connecting with Members to exceed service expectations in a timely manner and by effectively resolving problems; work directly with Members to build relationships and uncover and satisfy their financial needs
- Assists in setting objectives, developing strategies, budgeting, and developing policies and procedures.
- Works in tandem with Retail Support to review and “triage” staffing requests to effectively coordinate and dispatch coverage, to maintain exceptional service levels.
- Complete understanding and active application of our C.A.R.E.4, Mission, Values, and Purpose statements.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
We support Pay Transparency and are a pay-for-performance organization that benchmarks base pay to the 50th percentile of market data.
Pay Scale: Min $61,776 / Mid $68,640 / Max $72,488* per year
*Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
