Join Perpetual as our Content Marketing Manager and lead the creation of high-impact content to promote our respected Australian investment strategies and fund managers. This is your opportunity to influence how our brand connects with investors and drives business growth. This role is part of a Sydney-based marketing team delivering campaigns, events, digital marketing and other activity to achieve brand and sales objectives in Australia.

As Content Marketing Manager you’ll lead the creation and publishing of compelling editorial, audio, and video content across web, social media, newsletters, and more. Your work will support brand and sales objectives for Perpetual’s Australian asset management business.

We’re looking for a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for content and digital publishing and or someone to challenge our content strategies and dream up innovative new creative to lift brand equity and generate sales leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a content calendar across editorial, video, and podcast formats

  • Commission, edit, and publish content such as portfolio manager interviews for web, social media, newsletters, and product materials

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external writers/producers to ensure timely delivery

  • Ensure all content meets compliance standards and maintain approval records

  • Oversee newsletter publishing and EDM distribution

  • Monitor content performance and prepare monthly engagement reports

  • Align content with campaign goals to drive brand awareness and generate sales leads

  • Apply SEO best practices to optimise content visibility and engagement

About you

  • Degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field

  • Experience in finance, business journalism, or corporate communications

  • Passion for economics, investing, and global market trends

  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics

  • Experience in online publishing using CMS platforms

  • Familiarity with newsletter tools (e.g., Adobe Marketo)

  • Basic image/video editing and audio production skills

  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing best practices

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Deadline-driven and detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
