The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team to fill a contract role based at our North Sydney offices. Your work will cover a range of areas with a particular focus on privacy, consumer credit and financial services regulatory frameworks, including:
- Compliance Advice: Acting as a compliance SME, you will provide compliance advice to Pepper Money’s business units, including responding to ad-hoc requests and providing compliance advice and support on business projects all taking into account relevant regulatory obligations and customer experience.
- Review of marketing material: reviewing promotional, marketing materials and customer communications
- Incident Management: Assessing incidents for compliance with regulatory obligations including consumer credit and privacy requirements.
- Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of reporting to senior management and other stakeholders.
About you
Ideally you’ll demonstrate:
- Communication and stakeholder engagement: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to provide commercial compliance advice to the business to influence business decision-making at all levels.
- Technical know-how: Strong Financial Services regulatory knowledge with an understanding of relevant laws and industry standards including consumer credit and privacy
- Reporting: Preparing internal and external reporting
- Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and consistent delivery of high-quality work
- Proven: 5 years’ experience providing compliance advice on the regulatory framework applicable to financial services firms including reviewing marketing and customer communication materials and managing compliance incidents.
