Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for a highly experienced and can-do Senior Project Manager to safely lead the delivery of a major capital works program in Laverton, Victoria.

The Role
This is pivotal onsite role, responsible for managing simple, medium and complex multi-disciplinary projects from concept through to commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial outcomes are achieved.

Responsibilities
The key objectives for this role are:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of capital projects, ensuring alignment with the client’s operational and strategic goals
- Manage project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and risk management
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration

- A project leader with over 16 years’ experience who has demonstrable experience embedding safety considerations into all phases of a project
- Proven experience in managing capital project portfolios in the chemicals / agricultural sectors
- Proven experience working on major hazards facilities (MHF)
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated project delivery skills necessary to initiate and lead project packages, develop design / implementation schedules, execution methodologies and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team and the client
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- PMP or equivalent certification highly regarded
- Must be available to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria
