General Summary
Perform a variety of clerical support services, including numerous duties which facilitate and safeguard the lending function.
Reports To: VP Loan Operations Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform loan input and maintenance in core banking system (JHA Silverlake).
- Image loan documents into Synergy
- Be familiar and knowledgeable in utilizing provided technology and programs, including but not limited to LaserPro, Jack Henry, and Synergy
- Review morning reports and account reconciliation.
- Prepare 1502 Reporting and submit to SBA
- Process participation transactions
- Process all charge off loans and all required maintenance on Jack Henry.
- Process loan payments, insurance and prepare disbursement checks for loan funding.
- Process transactions such as payments, line of credit and construction advances, leases, loan fundings, etc.
- Perform steps necessary to finalize closed/paid loans – discharges, releases, terminations, etc.
- Provide sufficient departmental coverage and back-up support for various duties.
- Handle notices, correspondence, and reporting requirements appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Customer Service - transaction processing, loan inquiries, etc.
- Assist Loan Officers and others in the department as requested.
- Is responsible for being familiar with and complying with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Completes all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer.
- Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable
- Perform other tasks as needed from time to time.

Qualifications

Experience and/or Education
- Minimum 1-2 years of loan administration or equivalent experience
- High School Diploma
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexible, dependable, and service-oriented
- Good organizational and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal skills
- Computer knowledge - Windows, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, miscellaneous software applications (basic working knowledge)
- General accounting knowledge
- Proficient typing skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to meet established deadlines.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to work in an office environment which may include many hours of computer and telephone usage.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
