Hybrid Manual Tool Grinder na Tri Tool

Description

Under general supervision of the Tri Tool Grinding Operations team – individual will manufacture tool bits for daily orders as well as inventory tools from start to finish. Debur, hone and complete all steps necessary to make high-quality tooling for Tri Tool machines. 

Requirements

 TYPICAL DUTIES:
1. *Manufacture tool bits
2. *Troubleshoot grinding problems.
3. *Master setups for 6,000 – 10,000 different tool bits

 4. *Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
5. *Knowledge of multiple fixtures and grinding techniques
6. *Daily machine maintenance
7.  Back up scheduling
8.  Time management

 9. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Related work experience and aptitude.
• Ability to work safely and follow all safety policies involved with proper use of equipment and tools.
• Familiar with measuring and inspection equipment
• Mechanically inclined
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ability to use cutter grinders, sanders and debur equipment, surface grinders and machine hand tools

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED

Technical/Other on-the-job training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or  without assistance:

• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Bending and stooping
• Fine motor skills
• Standing for long periods of time
 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Fast paced, high energy. May be exposed to heat, fumes, grinding dust and loud working conditions. Work requires using grinders, sanders and other fabricating equipment.
