Duties/Responsibilities:  

  • Employee Relations – Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff on sensitive employee matters, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning – Drive recruitment, hiring, and succession planning strategies to meet current and future organizational needs.
  • Compensation, Benefits & Development – Evaluate and recommend competitive pay and benefits programs; implement professional development opportunities for employees.
  • Compliance & Policy Oversight – Ensure adherence to all employment laws and update policies to reflect current regulations and best practices.
  • HR Department Leadership – Oversee the daily HR function, including staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and workflow management.
  • Culture & Strategic HR Initiatives – Promote a positive workplace culture, leverage new HR technologies, and stay current on trends impacting talent management.

Required Skills/Abilities:  

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills. 
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related years of experience required. 
  • A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred. 

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
