Position Summary | ||
The Mechanical Engineer 2 will plan and execute development studies for development of new products or support of a current project. The Mechanical Engineer 2 plans and conducts design/development engineering assignments generally involving projects of medium magnitude and scope, estimates human resource needs and schedules work to meet completion dates and technical specifications and may coordinate and direct Engineers, Designers and Technicians assigned to projects. This individual will be involved with developing proposals and cost estimates, evaluating progress and results and recommending major changes in procedures or objectives. S/he will focus on design/development engineering assignments focused on mechanical systems, subsystems and components used in medical devices. | ||
