We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and analytical post-payment recovery auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting post-payment audits to identify and recover overpayments and other financial discrepancies from our client’s vendors, suppliers, and other business partners. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to drive revenue recovery and minimize financial losses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and transactional information to identify trends, anomalies, and potential recovery opportunities
- Review and verify invoices, contracts, purchase orders, emails, to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures
- Identify and document discrepancies, errors, and irregularities in financial transactions and communicate findings to management and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and other business partners to resolve disputes and recover funds owed to the company
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
Requirements:
· Must be completely fluent in the English language
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in auditing, with concentration in retail post-payment audit and recovery
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and analyze financial discrepancies and anomalies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar industry or sector, such as healthcare, finance, or government contracting
