Job Title: Part-Time Facilities Attendant
Hourly Rate: $14.86
Schedule: Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Preferred Availability: Sundays, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Additional Availability: Weekdays as needed

Location: Hamilton East Public Library – Noblesville Branch
Hamilton East Public Library is seeking a dependable and proactive Part-Time Facilities Attendant to support daily operations at our Noblesville location. This position is ideal for individuals with weekday jobs who are looking for consistent weekend work in a hands-on, behind-the-scenes role that supports essential community services.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport materials between library branches using a library vehicle
- Remove and properly dispose of recyclable materials
- Run supply-related errands
- Set up and tear down meeting rooms
- Perform light cleaning and general maintenance tasks
- Conduct minor repairs at both library locations
- Open buildings for staff at designated times
- Maintain exterior areas (e.g., snow removal, raking, trash collection)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, and perform outdoor tasks in all weather conditions
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Basic maintenance or repair experience is a plus
