Job Qualifications

Five years of indirect expense and/or concessions contracting/procurement experience is required. Category management experience is preferred.

Or

Bachelor's degree with three years of indirect expense and/or concessions contracting/procurement experience is required. Category management experience is preferred.

Associate must obtain contracting officer authority certification within 12 months of selection.

    Major Duties

    Assists in the implementation of category management and strategic sourcing methodologies to support the development and execution of category management strategies for assigned sub-categories.
    Serves as a subject matter expert to internal business units. Develops and maintains strong business relationships and collaboration with internal business units, vendors, industry experts, other agencies, and other key stakeholders. Effectively manages associated pipelines of strategic sourcing events.
    Maintains and applies ongoing understanding of market intelligence, new market products, services & technologies relevant to the business of assigned sub-categories.
    Conducts appropriate internal spend analyses and competitive market trend analyses and leverages opportunities to reduce costs and increase earnings. Ensures assigned sub-category spend is under management or plan, tracks and reports savings, monitors TCO improvements and KPI results, takes corrective action as necessary.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
