The Project Manager is a full-time position that reports to The Head of Project Management and is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of a project. This role is located in Sterling Heights, MI.
This role will be a full time role hired directly onto our client's payroll. You will get thier benefits and be an employee of them.
:Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executing projects to meet customer requirements based on Serapids products.
- Point of contact with the Architect, Consultant, Main Contractor, throughout the project
- Fully completing projects and obtaining customer sign off.
- Managing scope to fully deliver the customer’s requirements
- Managing cost budgets to deliver to +/-10% of baseline cost estimates
- Producing and maintaining a delivery program to reflect progress.
- Managing the cash flow of a project
- Running a risk assessment to minimize project risks
- Preparation of quotations to meet client change orders.
- Reporting Project Finances to monthly WIP meetings
- Informing the Finance Team of all invoices due / chasing invoices
- Approving all purchase orders to suppliers / sub-contractors that deviate from budget
- Lead and report on Project lessons learned
- Teamwork
- Coordinating human resources, team building, motivation of the staff with every relevant parties
- Liaising with all stakeholders
- Managing the customer relationship on technical scope and cost aspects in collaboration with the sales representative, calculate and defend with him the amendments.
- Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of US and client’s Global design process
- Travel
- Some travel may be necessary to do handovers, site considerations, or overall team support
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in following Organization’s PMO.
- Proficient in managing projects in terms of scope, schedule, budget.
- Ability to organize, set priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates.
- Ability to work as a team member towards overall Company objectives
- Ability to manage coordination and overall integration of technical activities in engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Education and Experience:
- B.S. in STEM or Business OR PMP Certification
- 2-5 Years of Experience managing Scope, Schedule, and Budget
