SUMMARY:

The Test Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. This position involves comprehensive testing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting to maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct thorough tests on instruments and products to verify safety, compliance and performance standards.
• Identify, diagnose and troubleshoot issues in products to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on testing tools and equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
• Document and report any identified issues through designated channels promptly and accurately.
• Suggest technical and procedural enhancements to the existing test processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain an organized and efficient workstation in line with 5S principles.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing concepts to maximize efficiency and reduce waste in the testing process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s Degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred
• Minimum of one year of experience assembling mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies preferred
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending technical documents such as drawings, schematics, specifications, work orders and work instructions
• Ability to use basic test equipment such as multimeter, computer programs, etc.
• Ability to work independently
• Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast paced environment
