POSITION: PCM Store Lead

  • REPORTS TO: King of Pops Company Owned Stores Ops Manager
  • STATUS: Full time
  • DIRECT REPORTS: 6-12 (seasonally)
  • COMPENSATION: $18/hr plus tips

Summary: 

As a Store Lead, you will fill a key leadership role within our company. You will skillfully oversee the day-to-day operations of your bar. This is measured by department revenue and profit while maintaining company standards for quality assurance, asset protection, team member satisfaction and exceeding guest expectations.

Principal Job Functions: 

  • Commits to the purpose, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates KOP core values.
  • Responsible for training, developing, engaging with, and evaluating the team.
  • Keep equipment in good working order through ongoing maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting.
  • Place Orders and be accountable for receiving orders.
  • Make sure the bar is clean and passing all health requirements. 
  • Optimize space visually and organizationally. 
  • Be “on-call” to cover shifts in case of emergencies or call-outs.
  • Adhere to Operations Manual.
  • Complete weekly inventory.
  • Submit staff schedule two weeks in advance.
  • Ensures compliance with human resource policies and procedures by staff.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service, operations, and sales.
  • Manage budgets and control expenses.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours as business demands, including weekends and holidays.
    • Must work at least 20 hours on the front line per week.
    • Drive sales and continuous process improvements for a multi-shift, high volume operation that encompasses safety, inventory control, regulatory compliance, receiving, packing, and sales.
  • You are accountable for all on-site event space activations, off-premise pop cart retail and catering territory operations.
  • Ensure fixed assets are preserved and maintained. 
  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • This position requires a results-oriented, high-energy, dynamic individual with both stamina and mental quickness to be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Act as a model for future King of Pops Bar Franchise opportunities and work with the Franchise team to test hypotheses and improve our offering.
  • Ensures compliance with human resource policies and procedures by staff.
  • Completes budget process within identified timeframe and format specified; monitors budget compliance and justifies variances. 
  • Manage budgets and control expenses.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours as business demands, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must work at least 30 hours on the front line per week.
  • Drive sales and continuous process improvements for a multi-shift, high volume operation that encompasses safety, inventory control, regulatory compliance, receiving, packing, and sales.
  • You are accountable for all on-site event space activations, off-premise pop cart retail and catering territory operations.
  • Ensure fixed assets are preserved and maintained.

Requirements

 

  • Prolonged periods of standing on feet serving pops and drinks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
