American Crane & Equipment Corporation (ACECO) is seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Shop Foreman to lead our 2nd shift production team. This is a critical opportunity for someone ready to lead by example, drive quality, and foster a collaborative culture where results matter.
Job Title: Manufacturing Shop Foreman – 2nd Shift
Department: Manufacturing - Production
Location: 531 Old Swede Road - Douglassville, PA 19518
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1:30PM – 10:00 PM | Full-time hours on-site
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and coordinate production activity on 2nd shift, with primary oversight in painting and support in welding and machine operations
- Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure team members meet quality and safety standards
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery, including saws and burn tables, as needed
- Support team development through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on training
- Communicate production updates, personnel needs, and concerns to Plant Manager and 1st Shift Foreman
- Promote and maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Track progress, support shift reporting, and assist with job and time documentation
- Contribute directly to output when needed to meet project deadlines
What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience (welding, industrial painting, machine operation)
- 1–2 years of team lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and shop safety practices
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication and team-building abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in basic computer applications (email, scheduling, reporting)
- Decisive and organized, with strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

Work Environment:
- This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll be exposed to machinery, noise, moving parts, and varying temperatures – PPE required. This role includes physical activity such as standing, lifting, and operating hand tools and machinery.
