We are seeking a versatile and strategic Content Marketing Specialist to develop high-impact content across multiple channels. This role will be instrumental in shaping the voice of the organization, including ghostwriting for the CEO, producing thought leadership, and supporting sales enablement through custom content. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and collaborative partner who can manage multiple priorities and deliver polished, engaging content on tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit industry-facing content
- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with business goals and brand positioning.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the implementation and execution of contracted and external partner content initiatives.
- Support the sales team with on-demand, customized content including one-pagers, case studies, and tailored messaging.
- Assist in the development of RFP responses with compelling, accurate, and brand-aligned content.
- Produce influencer-style content, including web articles, AI-related insights, and executive communications.
- Create and manage email drip campaigns in collaboration with the sales team to drive engagement and conversion.
- Produce a weekly email digest that captures key updates, insights, and thought leadership.
- Develop and maintain a consistent cadence of web and social content, acting as a ghostwriter for the CEO and in partnership with the SVP.
- Ensure all content is clear, compelling, and aligned with brand voice and strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in content writing, editing, or marketing communications, preferably in a B2B or tech environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Experience ghostwriting for executives or public-facing leaders is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital content strategy, SEO, and email marketing best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Preferred:
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and collaboration platforms.
- Experience with AI-related content or emerging tech topics is a plus.
- Experience in banking and/or fintech is preferred
This position requires regular onsite work at our Carmel, Indiana office. Candidates must be able to commute to and work from this location as part of their role.
