• Performs preventative maintenance with a proactive approach to ensure a minimal amount of down time.
• Repairs equipment in a timely manner when it breaks and with quality repair work that will ensure that the equipment will continue to operate per manufacturer specifications.
• Performs all scheduled maintenance on a timely basis as required per manufacturer recommendations and laundry department policies.
• Ensures that all equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Performs minor building and truck repairs.
• Uses inventory management system effectively to track and input repairs made.

What You WillNeed:

• Ability to effectively communicate inboth written and verbal English
• Experience with factory-typemanufacturing or processing equipment and systems
• Ability to read and interpret electricalschematics (Preferred)
• Knowledge of general plumbing, andindustrial electricity to 480 volts (Preferred)
• Understandingof pneumatic and high-pressure steam systems, and basic mechanical fundamentals(Preferred)
• Experience working in an ISO-9001environment (Preferred)

Under general supervision, theMechanic-Preventative Maintenance troubleshoots and repairs laundry equipmentand components maintaining the laundry operating at full capacity. Performs repairsto multiple systems and components including electrical and electronic, motors,gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam and hot oil systems. Activelyparticipates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility inmaintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
