Summary
The HR Specialist will provide excellent organizational skills and a personable disposition. This role will effectively collaborate with HR centers of excellence i.e.., Recruiting, Benefits & Wellness, leave management, operations and assist HRBPS in other HR related programs and initiatives. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, but you will also nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
· Recruitment for assigned vacancies and managing the process including job postings, resume screening, offer letters, etc.
· Work with Benefits and Wellness in support of associate benefits enrollment, changes, compliance and benefit policies
· Assist as needed with matters related to leave management, i.e., FMLA, personal leave and return to work requirements
· Supports other HR functions with HR operations to include system and record maintenance
· Assist as a link between Corporate HR and associates by handling HR related inquiries, interpreting and explaining HR policies, and helping resolve benefit, and staffing related matters.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Required for Success
· Moderate knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
· Established ability to exhibit accuracy and attention to detail.
· Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft applications- Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams and Outlook.
· Customer-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently.
· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle privileged information in a professional manner.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or experience in lieu of education accepted
- At least one year in a HR related capacity required with an emphasis is staffing, on-boarding, and benefit orientation
- Bi-Lingual strongly preferred.
- HR certification a plus.
