Position Description 2 POSITIONS are OPEN! 1 day shift and 1 night shift

Title: Extrusion Operator 

Department: Shrink – Extrusion 

Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt (Hourly) Day Shift A Crew 6a-6p & D Crew 6p-6a

Position Purpose: Operates, Maintains, and controls the equipment and process on the Blown Line to produce high quality WIP roll in a safe and productive manner to efficiently service customer orders by performing the following duties.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Maintains a clean and safe work area, machines, and equipment.
2. Identifies and reports deficiencies in product quality or packing.
3. Monitors the line to maintain changing conditions by adjusting die bolts, heat adjustments, tube tracking, winder settings and other process settings to ensure quality of WIP produced.
4. Strengthen and improve safety in the plant.
5. Maintain a clean work environment.
6. Other duties assigned by the Extrusion Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
