Position Overview
The Commercial Roofing Manager oversees daily production operations, manages multiple crews, and ensures projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and safety-first management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise multiple commercial roofing crews.
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and on-site problem-solving.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and cost control goals.
- Train and mentor employees in best practices and safety procedures.
- Recruit and retain skilled roofing professionals.
- Review project plans, specifications, and ensure proper materials and methods are used.
Qualifications
- 5–8 years of commercial roofing experience, including leadership.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training a plus.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and mobile job tools.
- Strong knowledge of multiple commercial roofing systems.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Comfortable with heights, travel, and occasional extended hours.
- Ability to communicate effectively; bilingual (Spanish) desirable.
Physical Requirements
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work at heights.
