Role: Assistant Manager supervises the daily shift operations and staff. Works with associate to carry out food and beverage orders, process payments, according to the J W Marriott standards; and to perform job responsibilities satisfactorily and to according to department standards. Adheres to all Company, Safety and Department policies and procedures. Fosters team work and provides excellent guest service, anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core
SKILLS/QUALIFICATAIONS:
Must be literate and able to communicate in English when dealing with staff and guests
Must be 21 years of age
Must have 1- year of hotel supervising experience
Must posses a positive attitude and work well with others team members. Must have strong communications skill (Verbal, Listening, Writing)
Must have strong problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to follow directions and keep accurate written and computer records
Ability to operate standard office machines, such as telephones and computers
REQUIRED CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
High school diploma or GED
Valid Clark County Health Card
Valid Las Vegas Alcohol Awareness Card
Valid Non- Gaming Card
