Parking Attendant – Be the First Smile They See!
About the Role:
At The Classic Center, first impressions matter — and that starts with you. As a Parking Attendant, you’re more than someone who waves cars through a gate. You’re the welcoming presence guests remember, the calm voice during busy events, and the person who helps everything run just a little smoother.
Whether it’s a major concert, a formal gala, or a full-house conference, you’ll be part of the team that makes it all work — right from the parking deck.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist guests as they enter and exit the parking facility
- Collect payment for event parking and ensure accurate reporting
- Enforce parking rules and issue citations or warnings as needed
- Keep the deck clean, organized, and safe — report any maintenance needs
- Patrol the facility to deter theft, damage, or safety hazards
- Set up signage and barricades to direct traffic and guide guests
- Answer questions about event locations, parking options, and directions
- Resolve guest concerns or disputes professionally, involving management when needed
- Maintain a clean, neat appearance and stay professional at all times
- Stay in-the-know about event schedules and communicate information clearly
- Support your teammates and take on other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong focus on customer service and hospitality
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions when needed
- Comfort working independently and handling multiple tasks
- Familiarity with company policies — and the ability to explain them
- Flexibility to work varying hours, especially around our busy event schedule
- A valid driver’s license with a current address and a clean driving record
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screening.
