What You'll Do:

  • Directs and monitors overall patient care activities of clinical staff.
  • Oversees the flow of patient scheduling in the clinical maximizing use of productive time in an efficient and effective manner. ordering, interpreting, and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Responsible for coordination of all clinic activity and day to day operations.
  • Manage staffing that meets organization goals through forecasting staffing needs and interviewing and selecting qualified personnel.
  • Participates in resolving patient care problems in accordance with individual education and experience recording information in patient’s EMR.
  • Serves as a resource person by assisting in initial and ongoing orientation of new personnel and physicians
  • Responsible for holding staff accountable to maintain required certifications and licensures for the position they hold.
  • Ensures timely staff performance evaluations, establishing, performance criteria, assisting staff in identifying goals and implementing action for achievement.
  • Utilizes equipment appropriately, including upkeep and repairs and keeps a record of repairs.
  • Demonstrates accountability for own actions by rendering patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of basic surgical techniques and set up for in-office surgical procedures including cleaning, caring for, and applying aseptic in preparing exchequer instruments. 
  • Assist with the PRP process.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply braces, casts, etc correctly.
  • Performs cast checks or dressing changes needed.

What Your Qualifications Should Be:

  • Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant Program or other related Medical program
  • One (1) year assistant experience
  • Five years lead or supervisory experience in medical clinic/office
  • Current CPR Basic Certification
