Hybrid Part Time Floor & Laundry Tech. at Assisted Living Facility na The Carolina Inn at Village Green

The Carolina Inn at Village Green is seeking a part time floor technician and laundry technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our community's floors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and guests, as well as handling laundry duties.

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Strip and wax floors as needed
• Clean and sanitize carpets
• Move furniture and equipment as necessary
• Monitor and report any necessary repairs or replacements
• Formulates washing formula for stained loads and all other laundry products processed through the laundry area.
• Sorts dirty linen by product type.
• Ensures the washing of linen is up to standard before placing into inventory.
• Cleans linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedules
• Washes and dries linens

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in floor maintenance preferred
• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Previous experience in commercial laundering preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Availability to work weekends and holidays

Shift:

Full-time position | 8:00am to 4:00pm | Weekends and Holidays required
