SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS FOR 2025-2026

Great Hearts Christian Academies (GHCA) is accepting applications for substitute teachers.  GHCA is creating a list of reviewed/screened/approved substitutes from which to draw for short/long-term substitution needs which may arise (e.g. for maternity leave, etc.).

REQUIRMENTS

• All substitute teachers are required to have a valid, current fingerprint clearance card
• The Great Hearts Christian Academies Statement of Faith as outlined on our website, all Great Hearts Christian Academies employees (including substitutes) must acknowledge this statement by signing upon hire

HIRING PROCESS

Great Hearts Christian Academies hires faculty, administrators, and Lead Office staff on a rolling basis. The GHCA Human Resource Business Partner reviews all applications, conducts initial screens, then ranks and passes applications on to the Executive Director and Dean of Campus. Please note: Executive Director along with the Dean of Campus are largely autonomous in the hiring processes for their campuses.  Again, the need for a substitute at any given academy may or may not arise at any given time.
