Duties
Works under the direction of the Deputy Director of Marketing to assist in planning and implementing a comprehensive marketing program in support of MCCS program functions. Utilizes a variety of communication methods and channels to include social media, web, e-mail marketing, and surveys to inform the target audience about programs, services, and events sponsored by or affiliated with MCCS operations. Assist with content and design within brand standards on all digital assets. Ensure consistent branding across all marketing channels to deliver a seamless experience for our audience. Responsible for creating, growing, and managing all MCCS social media platforms, to include Miramar Air Show requirements through creative use of content to include text, photo, video, campaigns, contests, etc. Research and analyze trends and usage of current and future communication channels to reach target audience. Design and develop multimedia materials for marketing campaigns. Produce/edit photos and videos for websites, social media, and other digital platforms as needed. Create interactive digital campaigns to generate a wider audience and a larger presence that can be used to drive business development. Advise on the technical advantages and limitations of formats, styles, media, and methods; recommending those that most effectively align with our objectives. Write copy, and utilize WordPress to build, maintain and enhance websites. Monitor websites to assist with updating content and initiate corrective action as needed. Produce and provide briefings to include after-action reports of marketing campaigns and monthly key performance indicators for all platforms. Use digital analytics to interpret the impact of our marketing efforts on various user segments and use project management tools to track and report on budget compliance and project¿s status. Complete routine administrative tasks such as processing invoices, ensuring contractual obligations from clients are met, creates reports/briefs/visual presentations, maintains official files, assists in prize distributions, and ancillary administrative tasks as directed. Provide extraordinary customer service with an emphasis on courtesy. Greets visitors to the department in a warm, friendly, and professional manner. Upholds high service standards through respect, courtesy, professionalism, and teamwork. Takes the initiative to solve problems quickly but recognizes when to seek assistance from supervisor to solve issues and problems. Collaborates in a professional, supportive, and proactive manner. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services provided. Respond to inquiries on social media and digital platforms to include occasionally outside of normal business hours. Adhere to safety regulations and standards. Use required safety equipment and observe safe work procedures. Promptly report observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. Adhere to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Media Studies, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field appropriate to work of the position, OR a combination of education and at least 3 years professional experience directly related to the duties of the position, gained within the most recent 3 years. Overall experience must include managing social media across multiple platforms and the use of digital newsletters, video creation, and live streaming to implement marketing strategy and plans, advertising, and promotions. Experience with videography and video editing from raw and stock footage is highly desired. Must possess organizational skill to coordinate requests from and information provided by multiple stakeholders while maintaining positive interactions. Additionally, a strong attention to detail is necessary to manage multiple projects simultaneously to deliver within the agreed upon deadlines. Proficient in the use of computer software and operating systems to include WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Constant Contact applications to create and edit websites and digital content is required. Familiarity using project management software such as Wrike or Microsoft Planner to collaborate with others in the management and scheduling of work projects is highly desired. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required. Occasional weekend and hours outside of normal business hours are required.
