Role Purpose:
The iWaste Technical Analyst I provides Tier 1–2 technical support for iWaste monitoring systems. This role is responsible for identifying hardware and communication issues, managing customer-generated inquiries and requests, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of technical cases. The goal is to optimize system productivity and minimize downtime across waste monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first- and second-level technical support for iWaste monitoring systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and communication issues.
Respond to customer support inquiries and requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
Use NetSuite to create and manage Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Cases.
Utilize the Device Portal to analyze graph data and event logs for troubleshooting.
Run reports to detect offline monitors, transducer issues, and other system anomalies.
Collaborate with Technical Analyst II and other internal teams to resolve complex issues.
Coordinate with field technicians for issue resolution and monitor installations.
Document solutions and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Databases).
Familiarity with pressure data and compactor monitoring functions.
Understanding of Device Portal menus and data interpretation.
Ability to explain technical issues clearly to various stakeholders.
Basic understanding of compactor functions and waste removal systems.
Experience in Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
Qualifications & Experience:
Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience.
1–2 years of experience in a technical support/help desk or customer service role.
Familiarity with compactors, monitoring systems, and technician dispatch processes is a plus.
