Description
The SVP of Marketing will be the architect of the LucyRx brand, responsible for stewarding a bold, cohesive, and differentiated presence in the market. This executive will lead the full spectrum of marketing—brand, digital, content, communications, demand generation, and RFP strategy—across all audiences: employers, health systems, consultants, and members. This leader will ensure marketing is a growth driver, a reputation-builder, and a force multiplier across the organization.
This is a critical, executive-level role requiring a rare blend of visionary brand leadership and operational marketing discipline. The ideal candidate has scaled enterprise-level marketing in healthcare, understands the intricacies of B2B and B2C dynamics in pharmacy or payer services, and brings a track record of excellence in proposal strategy, storytelling, and team leadership.
Role and Responsibilities
Brand Leadership
- Own and evolve the LucyRx brand architecture, positioning, and voice in alignment with company vision and mission.
- Ensure a consistent, elevated brand experience across all touchpoints, including digital, print, sales materials, and media.
- Serve as the senior-most brand steward internally and externally - trusted by leadership, respected by peers, and admired by the market.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Translate business objectives into clear, measurable marketing plans across lead generation, awareness, thought leadership, and member engagement.
- Oversee all digital, content, and social media strategy - ensuring data-informed decision-making and innovation.
- Partner closely with Sales, Clinical, and Product teams to drive pipeline growth and brand preference.
Proposal (RFP) Strategy & Execution
- Lead the RFP/proposal response team, ensuring alignment with brand tone, competitive positioning, and quality standards.
- Build a high-performing content library and knowledge base to streamline response timelines and elevate storytelling.
- Collaborate with growth leaders to continuously refine how LucyRx shows up in competitive evaluations.
Team Development & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team with both strategic and tactical depth.
- Inspire creativity while enforcing discipline in process, timelines, and deliverables.
- Foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Reputation & Market Voice
- Serve as a public-facing leader for LucyRx marketing—participating in industry events, media interviews, and executive forums as appropriate.
- Oversee public relations and earned media strategy.
- Ensure alignment between internal communications and external messaging.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
- Proven success in a high-growth, complex healthcare organization—PBM, payer, provider, or health-tech preferred.
- Deep understanding of brand strategy, enterprise marketing, and RFP/proposal development.
- Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and scale a high-performing team.
- Data fluency, financial acumen, and an outcomes-oriented mindset.
- BA/BS required; MBA or relevant advanced degree strongly preferred.
