Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience in child care
- American Red Cross First Aid certification is not required when applying but must be obtained prior to employment
- American Red Cross CPR certification is not required when applying but must be obtained prior to employment
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and/or holidays
Responsibilities:
- Attends to the needs of children of various ages in the child care room/nursery
- Maintains records of check-in and check-out times
- Plans programs and activities for the children
- Maintains the child care room/nursery in a clean and orderly condition
- Keeps attendance records and prepares reports
- Inspects equipment and toys for safety
- Meets and deals tactfully with the public
- Performs other related duties as required
