Role
The Senior Finance Analyst plays a vital role in driving financial strategy and performance across Aman Group. Based at our corporate office in New York and reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, this position leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for corporate departments and supports strategic decision-making across the business. The Senior Finance Analyst works cross-functionally to deliver meaningful insights, improve financial processes, and ensure financial transparency and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual corporate budgeting process in coordination with department heads and key stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget, identifying key variances and corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain financial forecasts including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow projections.
- Develop scenario-based financial models to support business planning and risk management.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
- Define and track key performance indicators to guide financial decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational improvement.
- Partner with corporate leaders to provide financial insights and support business cases.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial regulations.
- Support audit processes and collaborate with external auditors when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a global or multi-unit organisation.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reporting.
- Advanced modelling skills and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting tools, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights clearly.
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
