Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a knowledgeable and mission-driven CCP/PLA and Theater Threat Awareness Subject Matter Expert (SME) and PDP Facilitator to support training initiatives in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role supports the development and delivery of courses aligned with DIA, COE, and Joint Staff Joint Training Standards, with a specific focus on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), and other threats relevant to USINDOPACOM Theater Campaign Plans (TCP) and Operational Plans (OPLANS). This position operates in an on-site, SCIF-based environment. U.S. citizenship is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, coordinate, implement, instruct, and update a comprehensive range of courses from introductory to senior/expert levels
- Deliver instruction on CCP/PLA-related topics and theater threat awareness aligned with USINDOPACOM’s TCP and OPLANS
- Incorporate adult learning principles, best practices, and emerging instructional technologies across all learning formats
- Ensure training content is current, relevant, and aligned with operational requirements and DIA standards
- Adapt training for use in classroom, distributive/distance learning, and other emerging delivery platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure learning outcomes are met across varied training audiences
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Counterintelligence Polygraph Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the DoD or military intelligence field, with a focus on China (CCP/PLA)
- Relevant experience in the INDOPACOM area of operations
- 15+ years of DoD or military intelligence experience related to CCP/PLA and theater threats
- Operational or strategic-level experience within the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility
- Certified curriculum developer and prior experience as a DIA instructor
