MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*High school diploma or equivalent, plus two or more years working in a school or business office desired
*Ability to coordinate, organizes, and plans projects
*Possess strong verbal and written communication, typing skills (50 wpm)
*Proficient in computer skills, including database, spread sheets, word processing
*Knowledge of English, spelling and grammar
*Possess effective basic mathematical skills
*Ability to be flexible and to handle multiple details at one time
*Bilingual written/oral proficiency desired
*Must pass various pre-placement background screenings
*Experience and/or skills working with culturally diverse populations desired
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Ensures that all correspondence is word processed and completed in a timely & professional manner
*Accesses e-mail, voice mail and telephone system on a daily basis
*Uses current software programs to complete required daily tasks
*Monitors the principal's calendar and informs public of appointments as directed by the principal
*Coordinates the duties of the office personnel to ensure all jobs are covered in the event of absence
*Reviews District procedures at least once a semester to assist staff as needed
*Submits orders for office supplies to the principal as needed according to inventory needs
*Submits work orders by computer as directed by the administrator
*Account verification for all building accounts
*Accuracy of petty cash accounts and banking transactions
*Ordering supplies and processing purchase orders and warehouse orders
*Maintaining an organized process for accessing up-to-date information
*Maintains accurate records and submits to appropriate departments
*Assisting students, staff, patrons, and administrators as needed to ensure a safe and orderly environment
*Performs other duties as assigned by the administrator
