The practice consists of construction, engineering, and accounting professionals who work on the largest projects around the world. Their services include Construction Monitoring, Cost Exploration, Scheduling study, Claims Resolution and Litigation Support.What You'll DoAn Intern is responsible for helping the team in research and analysis of issues related to disputes on large capital construction projects. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in day-to-day activities in construction projects regarding expert witness reports (delay and quantum).
- Involvement with client personnel, other team members, contractors, design team and other professionals from other firms involved in the engagement.
- Organizing information to facilitate effective data access and analysis.
- Maintaining detailed working paper records of reflecting assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks.
- Working to deliver a quality product within established timeframes.
- You'll get the opportunity to develop your communication (written and verbal), mathematical and organizational skills.
- You'll gain proficiency in your knowledge of PC environment and related scheduling software including Primavera Project Planner, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
- You may travel internationally, which may include extended periods of time and to remote jobsite locations.
- Currently studying for a college degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, and/or related fields.
- Familiarity with project controls, scheduling and construction cost management.
- Bilingual - Spanish/English. Additional language is highly desirable.
- Analytical and issue resolution intelligence, problem solving is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, confident and impactful presenter.
- Advance skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge on Primavera P6, MS Project and similar software.
