Position Summary: Student Council
Purpose: Provide student leadership and voice around school pride and build opportunities to build positive school culture.
Job Description:
Plan and attend meetings (at least monthly) before or after school
Form the council through the application process
Plan activities and events (Spirit week, fundraising, service projects, school dances)
Promote participation in school-wide events
Support communication between students and staff regarding changes/suggestions that affect the building
Support PBIS
Promote school spirit and pride through social media
Attend Discover middle school night event for incoming students
Enforce and model positive leadership at all time
Perform other relevant duties regarding the program.
