JOB SUMMARY:

The Season Pass Department is a fun and exciting way to join the ski industry and the Monarch family.  This department is an upbeat, customer focused environment that provides opportunities to earn while still getting to play in the mountains. Enjoy a slope-side office environment while enjoying the perks of your complimentary Monarch Mountain season pass. The Season Pass Clerk should be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced sales and customer service environment. Excellent communication, attention to detail, customer service, cash handling, and the ability to work in an office environment are a must. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The Season Pass Clerk responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist guests and employees at the Season Pass desk, or on the phone, answering questions, fulfilling season pass sales and voucher/ticket exchange, lost and found…etc. addressing all individuals in a timely, courteous and respectful manner at all times.  
  • Answer phones, return calls and follow through with phone sales procedures.
  • Stay knowledgeable of all mountain happenings and products to assist guest with questions, bookings, and correct directions.
  • Track all lost and found items in an orderly fashion so that they may be reunited with the rightful owners as much as possible. 
  • Work as a team with other Monarch Departments to provide exceptional service.
  • Cross-train with the Tickets and Reservations Departments.
  • Other duties as assigned. This job summary is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.
  • Assist with basic retail functions (sales, stocking, etc)

 

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Ability to take direction and follow procedures.

  • Must be able to work as an individual and as a team.
  • Is flexible with hours and days of work. Can work any hours during the business day including mornings, evenings or split shifts, and any days of the week (including weekends and holidays)


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Age: 18
  • Legal citizen of the United States or possess other proper work permit authentication.
  • High School Diploma or GED required, college degree preferred.
  • Requires working at high elevation (up to 12,000’), with extended exposure to adverse weather conditions, such as severe cold, heavy snowfall, rain, strong winds and intense sun.


JOB TYPE: Winter Seasonal, Full and Part Time


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Compensation: Begins at $19.00 per hour, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience/length of service
