GENERAL SCOPE:
Opportunity to be a part of a new endeavor to build and grow our beverage distribution in greater King and Snohomish County. This new and unique position is responsible for selling & delivering supermarket and gas station chains, plus seeking to grow other independent retail accounts by planning and solicitation. We seek a self-motivated, structured, coachable individual looking to be a part of something new and exciting. Full-time union position. Monday-Friday hours. No CDL required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist the Northern Territory Manager in establishing and growing sales of specific beverages in greater King County; selling off a truck “driver-sell” style.
- Desire to gain hands-on sales experience and embrace an opportunity to grow in the company.
- Plan your next day of sales for adequate inventory on-hand and selling support material.
- Driving vehicle to retail locations to service and maintain in line with company standards for customer service
- Professionally represent the company while soliciting sales and delivering product from your vehicle
- Foster good relationships with your customers as you build rapport with them
- Work your delivery to the store’s shelves, backstock and displays
- Merchandise your stores as needed, sometimes as a non-delivery call back to fill shelves or displays
- Diligently manage your outgoing inventory balance responsibly
- Seek additional retailers to grow your route and sales
- Work Monday – Friday at early starting time
- Maintain a clean and neat/organized vehicle and equipment
- Maintain company’s impeccable image through actions and appearance, quality and service

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Must have a valid Washington State drivers license and an acceptable driving record
- Beverage industry experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to, occasionally, lift a minimum of 21lbs and a maximum of 160lbs required
- Basic computer knowledge is helpful, familiarity with smart phone mapping apps (i.e. Google Maps)

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Driving to Warehouse, then to and from Customer locations.
- Customer locations are typically retail accounts and may include but are not limited to the following; chain supermarkets and c-stores, independent grocery stores and c-stores as well as chain and independent bars, taverns and restaurants.
- Pay listed is NOT inclusive of Pay for Performance Incentives
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally bend. Specific vision abilities include close, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position requires the extensive use of hands and arms to lift, fill, rotate and face product, as well as the ability to reach top shelves of stores.

Employees will also receive 8 paid holidays and up to 40 hours of vacation after the first year of employment. This will increase to 80 hours at 2 years. We follow the Washington State Sick Leave for sick time accruals.
