Metropolitan Companies is looking for an Insurance Risk Manager to join our team! The Insurance Risk Manager will be responsible for evaluating and mitigating risks associated with our multi-family residential properties. This role involves working closely with insurance providers to lower premiums, advising leadership on risk management strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for all properties.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to reduce exposure and insurance premiums.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to negotiate favorable terms and premiums.
  • Advise senior leadership on risk management best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and analyze risk trends and provide regular reports to management.
  • Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with property managers to implement safety and risk management protocols.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by management.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, risk assessment techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
