As the Patient Coordinator at Foothills Pediatric Dentistry in Longmont, you’ll be the first friendly face our patients see and the voice they hear when they call. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive, stress-free experience for families by managing appointments, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring each visit runs smoothly. Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provide a welcoming front-desk presence and deliver exceptional service in person and over the phone  
  • Answer incoming calls and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment with efficiency and care  
  • Greet arriving patients and collect/update demographic info, insurance data, and health history  
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits accurately
  • Collect payments and post them to patient ledgers; check out patients thoroughly, explaining treatment plans and scheduling next visits 
  • Make outbound patient calls for appointment confirmations, recalls, and follow-ups
  • Maintain a clean, inviting waiting area; assist with light office tasks like restocking restrooms or laundry as required 
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management  

Qualifications: 

  • At least 1 year of dental front-office or patient coordinator experience preferred 
  • Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, patient-focused demeanor 
  • Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes a plus
  • Team-oriented attitude with the ability to multitask in a high-energy, child-centered environment
