Delta Medical Transport (DMT) is seeking a committed and highly skilled ALS Provider (EMT-III, AEMT, or Paramedic) to serve on our 911 ground response team in Delta Junction, Alaska. Core Responsibilities

🚨 Emergency Duties

• Provide Basic and Advanced Life Support in prehospital 911 settings.
• Deliver high-quality care during medical and trauma emergencies under standing orders and medical control.
• Operate independently in rural, austere, and occasionally extreme conditions.
• Collaborate with fire departments, law enforcement, air med services, and mutual aid partners.

🛠 Non-Emergency & Daily Operations

• Conduct daily rig checks, supply restocking, and equipment inspections.
• Attend required safety briefings, operational meetings and run reviews.
• Participate in public outreach and crew-level training.
• Complete documentation via ePCR reporting systems and participate in case reviews.
• Represent DMT professionally with patients, coworkers, and community stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License, -or- ability to obtain AK DL within 90 days of hire. (MVR required upon offer)
• Alaska EMT-III, AEMT, or Paramedic license (or NREMT-P with reciprocity eligibility)
• Ability to work remotely and independently with sound clinical judgment
• Clean background check and medical director approval to practice

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $58k to $80k base salary

(based on certification & experience)

Position Details

• Full-time, year-round position based in Delta Junction, AK
• Primary contract: 911 ground-based ALS response
• Shift schedule: Week on / Week off (7 days, 24-hour shifts)
• Housing support or travel assistance available for non-local applicants
• Crew members are expected to maintain readiness, uphold safety protocols, and support the local EMS system as part of a dependable, professional team.
