Accountant
Role Summary
We are looking for an accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. The Accountant will be an integral member of the team who will be responsible for several key areas of the month-end close process and will lead the preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile key balance sheet accounts ensuring proper supporting documentation.
- Perform and document month-end close procedures in accordance with internal control requirements
- Analyze and document Income Statement and Balance Sheet fluctuations
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and summaries as required.
- Bookkeeping of different entities around the world (local/statutory and USGAAP books)
- Support more experienced members of the team
- Coordinate with teams across multiple departments and locations to obtain and distribute financial information
- Support the completion of quarterly reviews and annual audits. Prepare audit documentation and key footnote disclosures as requested
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements
Perform special projects and any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduated Public Accountant or about to finish the career (last year).
- A minimum of 1-2 years relevant accounting experience
- Previous experience with ERP systems (Oracle/HFM/SAP) is a plus
- Experience working at a shared service centers is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
- Ability to adhere and meet internal and external deadlines
- Capability to prioritize workload and perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
