Hybrid Grounds Maintenance: High School - 40 Hours/Week (Outside Candidates) na Irvine Unified School District

The Irvine Unified School District comprises a diverse population of more than 36,000 PK-12 students in one early childhood learning center, 24 elementary schools, five K-8 schools, six middle schools, five high schools and one alternative high school. IUSD schools have been nationally recognized for comprehensive programs in academics, the arts, and athletics.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor- Plant, performs a variety of grounds maintenance and gardening duties in the beautification of assigned grounds and landscaped areas at an assigned high school site.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year grounds maintenance or irrigation installation and repair experience.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid California Class C driver’s license

Beginning salary is $4,330 per month. There are 6 steps to the salary scale with step 6 at $5,394 per month after annual increases.

IUSD offers a comprehensive health benefits program for employees who work 30 hours or more per week. The district pays most of the cost of medical and dental insurance for all eligible employees. Newly hired employees will begin at Step 1 on the salary schedule. Req# 4780
