We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Modular Building Sales Representative to drive sales and promote our modular building solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of modular construction, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in B2B or B2G sales. You will be responsible for prospecting, presenting, and closing sales for modular building products across a range of industries including commercial, educational, industrial, and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and client referrals.
- Consult with prospective clients to assess needs and recommend appropriate modular building solutions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, floor plans, and cost estimates to clients.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure feasibility and accurate fulfilment of client requirements.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and client meetings as necessary.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products, pricing, and market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations related to modular construction.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction sales, modular building, or related fields (minimum 2–5 years preferred).
- Knowledge of construction processes, modular building systems, and building codes is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales tools.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client visits and events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience selling to school districts, government agencies, or industrial clients.
- Familiarity with CAD software, modular design platforms, or estimating tools.
