About the Role:

The scaffolding Foreman plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is executed efficiently and safely. This position requires strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team of workers, while also coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to meet project deadlines. The Foreman is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safety on-site, which directly impacts the overall success of the project. Additionally, the Foreman will be involved in project estimation and scheduling, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively. Ultimately, the Foreman is key to delivering projects on time and within budget, while fostering a positive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience with heavy machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with project management software and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule work activities among team members and subcontractors to optimize productivity.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Assist in project estimation and budgeting, providing input on material and labor costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, safety reports, and equipment usage.

Skills:

The required skills in excavation, commercial building, and demolition are essential for the Foreman to effectively oversee various construction activities. Daily work involves utilizing construction management skills to coordinate tasks and ensure that all team members are aligned with project goals.
