Position Summary:

The Quality Administrator supports the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), with specific responsibilities delegated and overseen by the Quality Manager. This position is responsible for organizing, managing, and maintaining documentation and records in accordance with quality standards, ASME requirements, and internal procedures. The Quality Administrator plays a critical role in data integrity, document control, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement efforts.


Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:


Document Control

  • Organize and maintain documentation related to the Quality Control System
  • Job books
  • Continuity logs
  • Records retention systems
  • Perform data entry and management of quality records
  • Build and maintain job books and related documentation

• Quality Management System Support

  • Assist the Quality Manager in the maintenance and development of the QMS
  • Support system improvement efforts and updates to policies and procedures
  • Help develop and implement new quality processes as needed

• ASME Responsibilities

  • Maintain required ASME continuity logs:
  • Welder continuity
  • Instrument calibration
  • Registration logs
  • Manage in-process documentation including:
  • Job travelers and job books
  • NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) reports and tracking
  • Data input and validation
  • Participate in continuous learning related to ASME codes

Required Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and administrative skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must pass a drug/alcohol test and background check

• Must be Legally authorized to work in the United States


Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a quality control or administrative support role

• Familiarity with ASME codes and quality management systems

• Experience in document control within an industrial or manufacturing setting

• Working knowledge of NDE documentation and/or welding logs

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)


Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to operate a computer and other office equipment

• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 25 pounds

• May require limited time in fabrication or production areas, with exposure to loud noise, dust, and other industrial environmental factors

• Must be able to visually inspect documents and data for accuracy

• Must adhere to safety protocols and always wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Must be able to commute to Ault, CO daily


Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $27 - $31 per hour, depending on experience

Overtime: Eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours per week, as needed
