Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and build sequences based on a strong understanding of materials and fabrication techniques.
Evaluate equipment and tool performance to verify efficiency, reliability, and alignment with production requirements.
Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, process capability, and production inefficiencies through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Collaborate with design engineering teams to provide feedback on design concepts and specifications, ensuring manufacturability and optimal use of available equipment and methods.
Operate within a Model-Based Engineering environment using platforms such as 3DX (3DEXPERIENCE) and iBASEt Solumina to develop digital work instructions and manage process documentation.
Support cross-functional initiatives to improve cycle time, cost, quality, and safety across manufacturing operations.
Provide periodic off-shift support as needed to sustain production and ensure continuity of operations.
Travel periodically to other sites or vendors for technical support and integration activities.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong technical background and a high degree of confidence in addressing complex, unfamiliar challenges, especially in hands-on hardware environments. They will be a self-motivated problem-solver, capable of working independently while also thriving in collaborative team settings and supplier-facing situations.

Basic Qualifications
• Development/ protype/ first article program support.
• Extensive hands-on or Support production floor experience
• Review of engineering technical drawings and models / designs with respect to design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) considerations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance per business requirements AND the ability to obtain Special Program Access
Desired skills
• Experience in lieu of degree 13+ years of experience
• Aircraft structures assembly skills.
• Critical hardware sub-assembly installations and move procedures.
• Tooling and metrology setup and usage instructions.
• Leadership and training of new hires in manufacturing engineering capacity.
• 3DX/Catia, ERP, and PLM (product life cycle) software proficiency.
• CNC machining working knowledge and working with CNC machine operators.
• Composite part fabrication and assembly.
• Aero experience
