Job Description:
Verification:
- Review and process daily profiles to ensure information appears accurate and verification attempt is complete. Will monitor own profiles daily to ensure verification is received. Be proactive towards achieving goals.
- Contact medical providers by email (sequence & direct email), fax, phone or text to verify documentation.
- Show attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
- Research providers, their locations, look for new contact information, return profiles for patient identifiers, outdated letters or any other letter/documentation issues that arise.
- Partake in monthly meetings
- Help work unassigned profiles when personal lists are complete
- Assist team manager with any and all duties she deems assistance is necessary
Communication:
- Collaborate with the team in discussions regarding profiles, processes, questionable letters, research questions etc.
- Participate in team discussions regarding procedural changes or continued training.
- Report to Verification Team Manager
- Pleasant phone demeanor
Essential Job Functions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Meet individual and team performance targets by achieving key productivity and quality KPIs.
- Contribute to a collaborative team by sharing ideas and process improvements, while working in a hybrid environment that requires being in the office 3 days a week. Regular attendance at in-office team meetings and training sessions is a component of the hybrid work model.
- The weekly schedule for this role includes working Saturdays, with Sundays and your choice of weekday off.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Customer Support, Administrative, or Tech support preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with technology and computers (Google suite, slack, zoom to be used).
- Ability to develop and maintain momentum through workflow. Able to multi-task, and have effective time management.
- Ability to maintain focus, even at times when environment can become distracting
- Ability to achieve team and personal goals
